We’re creating a space for Seattle (and nearby) singers to connect beyond gatherings: share songs and singing resources, spread the word about song circles and other musical happenings, find fellow singers in your neighborhood, organize informal gatherings, and deepen our connections with one another.

This month's kirtan celebrates Diwali, the Festival of Lights. Most chants are call-and-response, and no experience is required. Come sing, lead a chant, or just soak in the vibrations. Volunteer-run and donation-based, with a suggested $5-10 to cover space rental. Kirtan meets the first Wednesday of every month.

Led by community song leader Sherry Hoffman. Learn songs of inspiration, protest, love, hope, and healing in the call-and-response oral tradition. Bring your perfectly imperfect voice! An explicitly anti-racist, queer-friendly, trans-affirming space. $20-25, cash at the door.

(Fall Concert Session)

Mt Baker Community Club, Seattle
Build toward a candle-lit concert of chant from a variety of traditions. We’ll sing in darkness, seated in a circle, in a meditative, ritualistic experience (and only 6 weeks of rehearsal!). The music will be simple, graceful, and repetitive. $150 adults / $100 kids. Scholarships are available, so please don’t let finances keep you from singing!

Mt Baker Community Club, Seattle
Drop-in, no-experience-required harmony singing. A secular gathering where we sing joyful, quickly learned short songs in 3 and 4 part harmony. Each gathering stands on its own. $15 adults / $10 kids drop-in.
